In collaboration with Ca’ Foscari University Venice the International Center for Climate Governance (ICCG) will present the following book: “Il clima che cambia. Non solo un problema ambientale“, by Carlo Carraro and Alessandra Mazzai.
The event will take place on December 01, from 06:00 pm in Ca’ Dolfin room, coinciding with the 2015 Paris Climate Conference (COP21 November 30 – December 11), a critical step towards a universal and legally binding agreement on climate. On this occasion, this substantial and up-to-date publication deals with the origins and consequences of climate change and offers appropriate solutions for one of the most urgent environmental and economic issues of our time.
Various experts will discuss on climate change, one of the most pressing and imminent economic problems the world is facing right now. The panel of experts will analyze the effects of climate change, not only on the environment but also with respect to people’s lives and society in general. In order to understand how sustainable development can be achieved in the future, it becomes necessary to have a closer look at the past.
