Impressions from Bonn – ICCG at #COP23

The 23rd session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 23) to the UN Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) closed on 18 November 2017 at the headquarters of the UNFCCC Secretariat in Bonn, Germany and it was presided over by the Government of Fiji. ICCG was at COP23, and took part in a number of activities and co-organized some official Side Events located in the Bonn Zone . Watch a selection of pictures taken during the week ICCG spent at COP23.

The Bula Zone

The Bula Zone was where the formal negotiations took place. The zone was located in World Conference Center Bonn, UN Campus and in an extended area behind the Deutsche Welle building in Bonn.





The Bonn Zone 

The Bonn Zone, which was located in Bonn’s Rheinaue Park area, accommodated events showcasing climate action, including high-level events, media activities, side events and exhibits organized by both UNFCCC and the Government of Germany.





























Side Events co-organized by FEEM

On November 14, at the Japan Pavillon, Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM) and ICCG Director, Carlo Carraro, took part in the Side Event “Innovation and Climate Policy under the Paris Agreement”.





On November 15, at the Turkey Pavillon, ICCG Director, Carlo Carraro, took part in Side Event, co-organized by FEEM, “Towards Sustainable Climate Change Response Measures under the Paris Agreement”.
