Research has shown that human health is being adversely impacted by climate change. As such governments are faced with the task of devising policy that simultaneously addresses the impacts of climate change on the environment and human health. To understand the challenges facing governments, the complex relationship between the social determinants of health, climate change and human health is discussed.
