Launch Event of the International Center for Climate Governance

Climate After Copenhagen

Launch Event of
the International Center for Climate Governance
and of the Climate Policy Initiative in Venice

The Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM) and the Fondazione Giorgio Cini are very pleased to announce the Launch Event of the International Center for Climate Governance (ICCG) to be held on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice on April 15, 2010. On the same occasion, the Climate Policy Initiative (CPI) announces the launch of its activities in Venice. This joint Launch Event is the beginning of a collaboration between FEEM, ICCG and CPI, and also marks the opening of FEEM and ICCG new offices in Venice.

The focus of this public event will be to look back at the events in Copenhagen and look forward to the implications for international climate policy. For this purpose, a distinguished group of experts from the policy and research community will provide insights on the dynamics behind the negotiations in Copenhagen, the consequences for the public sector, and the way ahead.

The Launch Event will be held on April 15, 2010 from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. in the magnificent Cenacolo of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore (Venice, Italy).
